Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (2016) | The so-called 'war comedy' is based on the book The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan by Kim Barker. Sent to a war zone after being told she's one of the only "unmarried, childless personnel in this bureau" (a few women start to sob after hearing this) Fey makes her way overseas. For Fey's character, it's a nice reprieve from her job and her mildly depressive boyfriend, which another person in the movie calls "the most American white lady story."
